Sophia’s stepfather, Mike Romero, created a GoFundMe page to raise funds to support her family. The modeling agency’s co-founder posted a heart-melting tribute remembering the actress and even called himself her guardian angel.
Sophia Leone was found unresponsive in her apartment on March 1, and the official cause of her death has yet to be determined. Meanwhile, the Albuquerque PD told TMZ that they are taking this death as suspicious despite no signs of trauma. Leone’s modeling agency claimed on X [formerly Twitter] that her death allegedly involved robbery and homicide, but the police say otherwise.

A police rep informed the media outlet that robbery or homicide was never on their radar, but they still considered it a suspicious death. It will be determined after the toxicology reports come in.
