She accepted that she was extremely shocked when it happened. The now 57-year-old disclosed how her mother told her that her father would not be around for a while. “I just remember sitting there, crying, not understanding that he was gone,” she stated, and revealed that John was gone for a year.
“I don’t remember anything other than it being odd that all of a sudden my father wasn’t there,” Jennifer confessed and divulged she had no contact with her father at that time. When he was back, she tried hard to please him so he wouldn’t leave again. And then later, she asked why he left.

It was quite painful to deal with her father leaving them for the woman he cheated with and later married. She then let go of any resentment. “It’s a big responsibility to think you’re responsible for your parent’s happiness. Lots of times, I felt like a middleman taking care of two children,” she felt.
It is no secret that Jennifer allegedly faced adultery in her own marriage when Brad Pitt apparently cheated on her with Angelina Jolie. The two Hollywood stars met in 1998 and were married from 2000 to 2005.
